The Lord's Return is Nigh

Get Ready

The days are counting down, many prophecies have or are coming to a close and we are now at the point of getting our houses in order and preparing to meet the Lord. As you know, there are plenty of scoffers in our midst as the Bible declared there would be. However, as we hear and witness such scoffers, we can attest to the fact that prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes.

II Peter 3:3-4, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

When we hear words of mockery, it is not a time to get angry, mad or thrown off our mission. That is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. Rather when we hear such doubt and negativity, inwardly we know that our redeemer draweth near and it is time for us to get our house in order.

When we say, Get our house in order, it doesn't mean that we are to rearrange our furniture or wash the windows and floors, cut the lawn and trim the trees. It means to make sure that everyone in your household is walking the path of Christ. By reading and meditating on the scriptures; praying, repenting, forgiving and walking according to the word. It means taking a look at the items in your home and getting rid of those things that are not of God; such as, idols, statues, pornography, liquor, drugs, etc., for all these things are pleasing to the flesh, but contrary to the Spirit of God.

Many of us see the signs all around us. Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places, the love of many waxing cold, and false prophets among us; but yet many continue to live as friends of the world. And at this point in the age, as we are counting down, it is time to make a choice. Who will you serve?

God + good = life or Enemy + evil = death

The enemy has done a remarkable job of convincing many that he doesn't exist. Mention the words, devil or Satan and many will have a deaf ear, change the subject or simply laugh in your face. There was never a time in history as it is now that the enemy is in full force around the globe. But as we prepare for the second exodus and the return of the Christ, we must me confident that we are ready emotionally, spiritually, even physically.

As we approach the day in which Noah entered the ark, there will only be two types of people left on the land. Those who believed and lined themselves up with the word of God and those who did not.

Matthew 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered in the ark.”

The return of the Lord is a magnificent time in history. It is not a day of gloom and sadness (for those awaiting his return), but a day of praise and adoration. A day when we will finally leave the oppressors land and enter into the promised land. A day to behold the glory of God and all his hosts and saints.

Let's get ready, watchful and prayerful. For the day of the Lord is at hand!

Mark 13:37, “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

Rapture of God's People

Remember the Month Abib The Gathering of God’s People Exodus 12:42, “It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations:” Exodus 13:4; 9, “This day came ye out in the month Abib. And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.” Exodus 34:18, “…for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.” Deuteronomy 16:1, “Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.” Biblically speaking we know that God wanted the children of Israel to remember and observe the month Abib. And when the Bible makes reference to Egypt it is referring to the literal country and also spiri...

If I Were the Devil

Understanding the Ways of Satan II If I Were Satan If I were the devil the first mission I would undertake is to destroy God’s people so that they all will worship me and my image. Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. If I were the devil I would make sure that prayer is taken out all the schools and public places in order for people to pray for my country rather than to God. Luke 22:36, Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” If I were the devil I would make it so every person feared the government and police more than they fear God. I would make them all trusting in the government more than they trust God. Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: ...

Prayer and the Portals of Heaven

From the Desk of Sister Abigail Kneeling Before God This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! When I was a little girl, my grandmother would pray, by keeling down over the bed. She would be so engrossed in prayer, that she wouldn't even know that I had entered the room and knelt down by the bed beside her. I'd stay there, say a short prayer of whatever was on my youthful mind at the time, then remain silent until she finished. When my grandmother was finished, she surprisingly looked over at me, would smile the biggest smile and say, “How long have you been in here?” I'd smile back. Then she'd give me a kiss, and we'd arise from our knelt position and go on about our day. I did this often as a child, but somewhere along the line... that stopped. But today, on this day, upon awakening, I was reminded of my grandmother. Those memories of her praying by the bed filled my mind as if it occurred yesterday. I then got out...
