The Q Anon Distraction

It is important, in these last days, that we take care of our mind, by taking into account what we listen to, what we watch on television, what type of movies we watch and even to the video games that many play. As quiet as it is kept, what we feed our mind has a lot to do with how we feel, how we react under pressure and even in our everyday lives. If you're anxious, angry or suffer from anxiety or depression, most often it stems from what you have allowed to enter your mind. As we get closer to the ending of this age, Satan, along with the many seducing spirits of the air, are bombarding us with a lot of distractions; such as, the probable coming civil war, race wars, political rumors, and nuclear bomb threats. But the biggest distraction that has surfaced tremendously among the Christian community is, Q Anon, and I'm going to go on record right now and say that Q Anon is nothing more than a distraction for Christians. Many Christians are viewing this Q Anon as...

Tell Me About Jesus

It was a Sunday afternoon and I quickly walked into the Olive Garden Restaurant to pick up my food. Take out was a regular for me on Sundays after church service. It was rather crowded, a little more than usual, but I didn't expect to be in there too long. But while I was waiting for my food to arrive, a young man, probably in his late teens or early twenties, complimented me on my gold necklace which read,  I Love Jesus. I thanked him and continued to be on the lookout for my food. “I'm John, by the way,” he said extending his hand. “Abbey,” I responded. Then continued to look for my food. I noticed John looking at me from the corner of my eye, but anxiously awaiting my food I ignored him. Then all of a sudden he asked, “Can you tell me about Jesus?” I was almost taken aback. What! I said internally. I had been a Christian for nearly 28 years and nobody had ever asked me that question before. NEVER. It almost seemed unreal, unnatural to ask me ...

Prayer and the Portals of Heaven

From the Desk of Sister Abigail Kneeling Before God This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! When I was a little girl, my grandmother would pray, by keeling down over the bed. She would be so engrossed in prayer, that she wouldn't even know that I had entered the room and knelt down by the bed beside her. I'd stay there, say a short prayer of whatever was on my youthful mind at the time, then remain silent until she finished. When my grandmother was finished, she surprisingly looked over at me, would smile the biggest smile and say, “How long have you been in here?” I'd smile back. Then she'd give me a kiss, and we'd arise from our knelt position and go on about our day. I did this often as a child, but somewhere along the line... that stopped. But today, on this day, upon awakening, I was reminded of my grandmother. Those memories of her praying by the bed filled my mind as if it occurred yesterday. I then got out...

The End of the Age is Near

Message from the Desk of Sister Abigail Seek the Lord While He May Be Found As the end of this age, the age as we know it today, quickly begins to come to a close, it is especially imperative that we diligently seek the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul, while the Lord can still be found; while we can openly read our Bibles and while we can go to a place of worship and give glory and praise to the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Isaiah 55:6 , tells us to “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.” There is going to come a time when many will seek the Lord, even seek the presence of the Lord and they will not be able to find him. We are closing in on the coming of that day. For once God's hand has been lifted up, which many refer to as the restrainer, the wicked one will be revealed, and the earth as we know it today will suddenly go dark. Not dark as in appearance, but a spirit of darkness and deception will cover the ent...

I'm Tired of Waiting for Jesus

Is it this year? Next year? Many of you are awaiting the return of Jesus Christ, and some of you are getting very weary as the time draws nearer. Don't give up the fight to overcome the many challenges of this world.  Don't give up on the promises of Christ. Don't give up on love and never get tired of doing good as the Apostle Paul writes in Galatians 6:9 , “Let us not grow weary while doing good; for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”  The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon to gather his bride, and we will have the most spectacular marriage supper that has never been had before. "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb..." Revelation 19:9. As you know, it is not in the Father's will for anyone to perish ( II Peter 3:9 ), but for all to come to repentance and experience that glorious place that he has prepared for us. No eye has seen and no imagination can fathom what the heavenly Father has p...

Why Do You Pray

Taken from the series entitled, Lunch with Jesus Liza is a non-believer, yet curious. Kate is a Christian to the heart. She loves God with all her mind, heart, body and soul. On this particular day, Liza was reading a magazine and when she turned to the next page, the membership form fell out of it. So Liza reached down to the floor to pick it up. On her way up she glanced at Kate and noticed she was praying. She waited for her to finish, then politely walked over to her and said, "Hi Kate, may I ask you something?" "Sure," she replied. "Why do you pray?" Liza asked. "Prayer is my method of connecting with God. I thank him for continuing to allow me to breathe. I thank him for my family. I thank him for the day. And I thank him for my food. Then a scripture will come to mind, such as today, Psalm 118:24 , "This is the day, the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Then I dwell for a moment on that verse and s...

What if the People of the Bible Were Black

Food for Thought What if the people of the Bible were the so-called African Americans? What if the people of the Bible were the people that were enslaved in America? What if the people of the Bible were the same  people that were lynched in America repeatedly? What if the people of the Bible are in fact the people that police officers have had a field day with shooting? What if the people of the Bible were the African Americans? When it comes to the Holy Bible there are certain verses that don't get too much attention. Or shall I say they aren't pondered, or questioned. For instance, Revelation 2:9, “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” Hmm, that last verse (paraphrasing), I know them that say they are Jews and are not. What does that mean exactly? Who would portray themselves as Jews and are not? Who is actually saying they are J...

Day of Tribulation

When the hour has come, what will you be doing? If Jesus were to come knocking at your door, what would you be doing? If you take a moment to think about your life, and your walk with Jesus toward eternal salvation, whatever you spend the most of your time partaking in, nine times out of ten, is what you will be doing when Jesus knocks at your door. Whether it is watching television, playing video games, gossiping, lying, partaking in the sins of the world, exploring the Internet, hurting others, swearing, stealing, fighting, displaying acts of hostility or the like, is what you will be found doing at the hour of Jesus. Those are the things that are closest to your heart. Would you drop your head in shame while in Jesus' presence? More than likely the answer to that question is, yes. There are some individuals who have spent, and are spending, the majority of their lives carrying the spirit of envy, greed, pride, rage, confusion, fe...

The Lord's Return is Nigh

Get Ready The days are counting down, many prophecies have or are coming to a close and we are now at the point of getting our houses in order and preparing to meet the Lord. As you know, there are plenty of scoffers in our midst as the Bible declared there would be. However, as we hear and witness such scoffers, we can attest to the fact that prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. II Peter 3:3-4, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” When we hear words of mockery, it is not a time to get angry, mad or thrown off our mission. That is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. Rather when we hear such doubt and negativity, inwardly we know that our redeemer draweth near and it is time for us to get our house in order. When we say, Get ...
