The Great Tribulation I

The Coming Plaque of North America
God’s Judgment is Fast Approaching

Exodus 15:26, “And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of theses diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”

Luke 21:36, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

When we look up the Greek word for escape in the Strong’s Concordance 1628 it means = to escape; escaped; fled out; fled.

Now, when we look at Jeremiah 51:45 God says, “My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

When we look up the Hebrew word for midst in the Strong’s Concordance 8432 it means = middle, midst, center, above, within, among, between, out of.

When we look at the meanings of the words we can clearly see that our heavenly Father wants us to deliver ourselves. We know that God did not build the Ark for Noah; He did not plant the food for Joseph. He did not rapture Moses and the Israelites out of Egypt but God did call to Moses and Aaron Exodus 12:31, “…Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.”

In the month Abib (mid March-mid April) God took them out of Egypt. Noah, Joseph and Moses did the work under God’s protection, guidance and Spirit.

What if Noah said, “I’m just going to wait on the LORD this is too much for me to bear?” He would have washed away in the flood; no doubt. What if Joseph said, “You know even though I’m an interpreter of dreams I’ll just let God handle it and you know I have plenty of time to kick back!” He would have starved when those years of drought shortly came to pass. Even though Joseph had seven years to prepare; we know that seven years can creep up on you.

What if Moses said, “Let’s just wait and see how everything pans out.” They would still be slaves in Egypt. Time flies by and it waits for no one! How many of you look at your age now and say, “I remember when…” Don’t let this day creep up on you and catch you by surprise.

Jesus wants us to be prepared for His coming and to do the work in preparation. We also know that the Church of Philadelphia is kept from the hour of temptation (test, trial). Revelation 3:7; 10, “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

When we look at the word keep in the Strong’s Concordance 5083 it means = to keep, guard, kept, preserved, watched, hold fast. Jesus does not take them per se’ rather we will be watched over, guarded and protected under our Heavenly Father’s wings. The Church of Philadelphia consists of faithful believers who were found worthy to escape the coming trials, test and great tribulation.

I hear a lot of Christians say, “I’m going to wait on the LORD.” What a cowardly way of thinking, especially when those people have families. They are willing to let their children, spouse and other relatives starve because of their immature perception of the heavenly Father and what He has done in the past, what He promised to do, and what He will do shortly.

Matthew 24:21-22, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: bur for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

The elect will be here during the Great Tribulation according to the above verse. But those days have been shortened for their sake. A lot of followers believe the tribulation will last seven years. And with that belief some have said, the days of the Great Tribulation have been reduced to five months based on Revelation 9:1-8; and some believe it has been reduced to 3 ½ years based on the entire chapter of Revelation 12 a woman fleeing or escaping into the wilderness.

We also know the Church of Smyrna will suffer tribulation ten days, will be cast into prison and martyred for their faith. We see that happening today in Irag, Syria and other countries. And will too come to North America and those will be tried and tested. However, glory to God for those who overcome the wiles of the devil; for they will receive a crown of life and will not be affected by the second death. (Revelation 2:8-11).

Mark 13:19, “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.”

Luke 21:35, “For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”

Jesus has told us in the above verse that it will come upon all them that dwell on the whole earth; and all means everybody. However, God has made a means for people to escape not to be raptured out; but to escape. We know without a shred of a doubt there is a gathering of God’s people or as some refer to it as rapture but it is after this Great Tribulation that will befall all those that dwell upon the earth.

Matthew 24:29; 31. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And He (Jesus) shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

We know there is a rapture or gathering of God’s people; however it is after the great tribulation as mentioned in Matthew 24:21,“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Therefore, we want to be found worthy to escape. God will provide a way for us to escape. Some refer to this escape as a form of rapture because they are getting out of and away from the Great Tribulation by fleeing to a safe place where God will protect them as the apple of His eye. And God will protect His own—we should never doubt that.

Jeremiah 51:50, “Ye that have escaped the sword (God’s judgment), go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.”

However, if you are waiting for a sign you need to read what Jesus said, “Matthew 12:39, “But he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall be no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.”

Matthew 16:4, “A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.”

Matthew 11:29, “And when the people were gather thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.”

Jonah is the sign. The word Jonah means = “dove” and the dove is the representation of the Holy Spirit. When Jonah went to Ninevah, his message was to warn the people that their wickedness and idolatry has gone up before God and it was imperative for them to repent or their city would be overthrown.

That is our sign. The Holy Spirit places upon our heart to repent of our wicked deeds. Therefore, when you hear people constantly saying, repent, repent, repent for the kingdom of God is near—that is your sign. That is our sign!  And when we repent and are faithful with our walk with the heavenly Father, by His grace and mercy we will be found worthy to escape the coming Great Tribulation.

If you are reading this God may be trying to get your attention. If you are reading this it may be because you too, sense the coming plaque of North America. And I will ask you this question: How many times has your intuition failed you? How many times have you sensed something an event or action stirred by Spirit and you dismissed it; only for it to come to pass?

Matthew 16:3, “…O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times.”

As believers in Jesus the Christ we have spiritual discernment. And some who are non-believers and sadly, some Christians as well, refer to this, paranoia or conspiracy theorists, or fear-mongers and as believers we let them have their say—while we prepare for those things which will shortly come to pass.

Some believers have become so caught up in the cares and lusts of this world; that anything scriptural or spiritual only has a place on Saturday or Sunday or not at all. As a believer that is so sad. It is so sad to hear people know more about politics than the Bible. Or know more about their favorite professional team than the miracles of Jesus; or more about the whereabouts and happenings of celebrities than what happened during Jesus’ Last Supper. And when they are approached by someone with spiritual discernment—it is ridiculed or quickly dismissed.

Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, by the revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

If you are reading this article you are fully aware that you cannot make someone share your beliefs, traditions or way of thinking. We are all unique. As believers we need to understand this fact.

If you notice in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), Jesus did not force His Father’s Word upon anyone. He taught the Word, applied parables for easier understanding and that was it! I cannot recall anywhere in the Gospels where Jesus said anything more than twice. And as believers and followers we must do the same.

The Spirit has put it on your heart to read this article; therefore, it may be time for you to act upon that which—you already know to be true.

Luke 10:23-24, “And He (Jesus) turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

Jesus is clearly telling his followers not to rely on the sight of prophets for they wish had the vision has they do. In these days the Bible makes it very clear; Jesus is not raising up hypocrites, the rich, those with fancy positions, degrees and letters behind their name; but rather those who you would never dream could have dreams and visions of events that will shortly come to pass or of heaven or hell. John 2:46, “And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.”

Repent now for the kingdom is near. Don’t wait until tomorrow, or the next day, or say you just don’t have time. Because there will be one thing that you will have time for and that is—to die. Once you’re dead it’s too late to repent. If you’re reading this article—this is your sign—to repent and turn from your wicked ways that are against the heavenly Father.
