The Q Anon Distraction

It is important, in these last days, that we take care of our mind, by taking into account what we listen to, what we watch on television, what type of movies we watch and even to the video games that many play. As quiet as it is kept, what we feed our mind has a lot to do with how we feel, how we react under pressure and even in our everyday lives. If you're anxious, angry or suffer from anxiety or depression, most often it stems from what you have allowed to enter your mind.

As we get closer to the ending of this age, Satan, along with the many seducing spirits of the air, are bombarding us with a lot of distractions; such as, the probable coming civil war, race wars, political rumors, and nuclear bomb threats. But the biggest distraction that has surfaced tremendously among the Christian community is, Q Anon, and I'm going to go on record right now and say that Q Anon is nothing more than a distraction for Christians.

Many Christians are viewing this Q Anon as a “savior”, and as a way to “fix” the government and make it better. But again, Q Anon is nothing more than a distraction that will ultimately lead to one's deception.

If you honestly believe that there is an unknown person, or persons, leaking out classified information regarding secret meetings and conversations between political leaders, for many months now, then I must tell you that you are deceived already. And now, you must quickly jump off that wagon.

It is time for many followers of Jesus to stop running after every kite in the wind. Your eyes should be on the coming of the Lord, not on the lusts and cares of this world; not on who secretly taped a conversation in the White House, or who might be getting arrested, or who should be getting arrested.

This is a distraction!

What saddens me is, there has been some really informative channels on YouTube. Channels that really focused on the Lord and His coming and the supernatural benefits of His kingdom, but now, some have gone completely Q Anon and have not published a single message on Christ in over six months. And others are trying to tie the Lord into this Q Anon conspiracy. But what's worse, the comments from Christians appreciating the message and putting God into their words, saying such statements as, “Thanks for the Q message today. I can't wait to hear tomorrow's message. God is really working with you?” Really?! How is God really working with someone if they are no longer giving the message of God!

Now, Jesus has told us many times in scripture to be careful that we are not deceived.

Luke 21:8, “Take heed that ye be not deceived...”

Matthew 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christ and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; and if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Folks, the world is not going to get any better, Jesus has made that perfectly clear in Matthew 10:34, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” And his same words are repeated in Luke 12:51.

As we witness the many evils in this world we don't have to worry, for as followers of Christ, we are safe under the Father's Almighty wings and delivered from evil (Psalm 91).

Brothers and sisters, take care of your mind. Guard your mind, having it free from fantasy, false promises and signs and wonders of illusion. The deception is great in the world at this time, and it's coming from many directions all at once. Don't let the cares and lusts of this world choke the word as we read in Matthew 13:22.

This is Satan's kingdom, this is his world, don't ever forget that as we read in Matthew 4:8-9. Satan would not have been able to offer Jesus the kingdom of this world if the kingdom wasn't his to offer. So, don't forget that important scripture. Jesus' kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36), so please don't be deceived.

I Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.”

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God bless you all. Stay safe, wise and prayerful in these days that are upon us.

Tell Me About Jesus

It was a Sunday afternoon and I quickly walked into the Olive Garden Restaurant to pick up my food. Take out was a regular for me on Sundays after church service. It was rather crowded, a little more than usual, but I didn't expect to be in there too long. But while I was waiting for my food to arrive, a young man, probably in his late teens or early twenties, complimented me on my gold necklace which read, I Love Jesus. I thanked him and continued to be on the lookout for my food.

“I'm John, by the way,” he said extending his hand.

“Abbey,” I responded. Then continued to look for my food.

I noticed John looking at me from the corner of my eye, but anxiously awaiting my food I ignored him.

Then all of a sudden he asked, “Can you tell me about Jesus?”

I was almost taken aback.

What! I said internally.

I had been a Christian for nearly 28 years and nobody had ever asked me that question before. NEVER. It almost seemed unreal, unnatural to ask me a question of this nature in public. I hesitated for a moment, gathered my thoughts, and began to tell him about Jesus. I was a little rocky at first, for he caught me off guard, but within a couple minutes, the Holy Spirit rested upon me. Then my love for Jesus and all of his sayings and miracles poured out of my mouth like water. And all of a sudden, my food was no longer important.

I learned a valuable lesson that day. Telling someone about Jesus doesn't happen in church too often, it happens in the world around you.

Brothers and sisters, if someone approached you and said, “Tell me about your Lord,” what would you say? Would you have a summary or story right away or would you have to get back to them in a few minutes?

When we talk about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, many do not stop to ponder the questions, “What is my relationship with Jesus? Do I truly have a relationship with Him? Can I tell someone about Jesus if asked?”

How many of you have spent hours, days, even years getting to know your boyfriend or girlfriend, friends, or co-workers? What about your cell phones or new cars? But how many of you have truly taken the time to get to know Jesus?

One of the biggest deceptions many Christians are partaking in at this moment is, deceiving themselves into believing that they have a relationship with Christ. We know from Bible scriptures that many will not be able to enter the kingdom of God when they believe with certainty they will.
Matthew 7:22-23, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in they name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you...”

When we look at the word knew, in the Strong's Concordance #1097, it means, to come to know. The only was we can come to know someone is by having a relationship with them. The way we have a relationship with Jesus is by reading our Bible, communing and praying with our Lord, spending quiet time in the word, and studying to show ourselves approved. (II Timothy 2:15)

As we come to know Jesus, we come to know the Father. As we come to know the Father, we have a relationship with Jesus. For no man goes unto the Father except through Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Thus, wouldn't it be well with us to personally know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more than our material items and earthly relationships?

Matthew 15:8, “This people draws near unto me with their mouth; and honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.”

Did you know that when we are conversing with a new Christian, backslider, or one on the verge of losing his or her faith, they simply want assurance in what they are believing? They want a word of encouragement, but mostly, they want to see Christ in you.

Jesus said, “Feed my sheep,” (John 21:17). The only way we can feed the sheep, the flock of Jesus, is if we have the meat to feed the sheep with. So, I ask you the question, brothers and sister, “Can you tell me about Jesus?”

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God bless you all. Stay safe, wise and prayerful in these days that are upon us and be ready to feed the flock.
